A survey released yesterday suggested that 1 in 10 restaurants in Canada have had to permanently close. It’s expected that many more restaurants will also have to permanently close if they do not receive government support in the next month. We support @savehospitality.ca and @onetable as they fight for independent Canadian restaurateurs for concrete support from all levels of the government! We’re digging our boots in and doing everything we can to survive and make it through to the other side of this pandemic but we want to make sure that all of our restaurant friends are also able to make it to the other side. It’s scary to think of what the world would look like with no independent restaurants!
