Overview:

·       Assists in the day-to-day operation of a Neighbourhood Group restaurant as directed by the management team by creating great guest experiences through positive interactions with your team and your guests.

·       Develops the ability to create positive guest experiences by enthusiastically embracing the Neighbourhood Group values, and has the willingness to share these values with all of the people that you interact with

·       As a fully trained bartender, you will be able to lead unmatched guest experiences, that will leave people with no other choice except to return to our restaurants.  You will focus on having a positive “can-do” attitude that will be infectious amongst your peers.  Teamwork is something that you strive to accomplish with everyone in the building.

·       Additionally, you will be creative in the creation of cocktails and beverages that have a distinctly local angle.  You are creative, as we want to eliminate the use of products not sourced from our own backyard.  You are passionate about VQA and what local craft brewers are doing around us.

Responsibilities:

·       Guest Experience – making sure each guest feels that they are the most important people in the restaurant.

·       Teamwork – running food / taking an order / answering the phone / sending some dishes through the dishwasher / seating a guest are all part of your day.  “That’s not my job” doesn’t enter into your vocabulary.

·       Friendliness – checking in with your teammates throughout the building is just something that is ingrained in what you do.

·       Standards and controls including the responsible service of alcohol.

·       Development of new cocktails and sourcing local suppliers

Qualifications:

·       Willingness to learn

·       Previous experience serving and bartending in a fast paced environment

·       Positivity
